A. RESIDENTIAL TRAINING PROGRAM 

The Academy through its scouts and talent search team conducts open trials in various places to identify raw talents and after a rigorous process of trials, selects the trainees to be inducted in the residential academy. The focus of this program is to identify boys of age under 15 years and train them through systematic long-term continuous programs under the tutelage of the coaches of the academy. The scouting is an annual exercise of the academy to maintain a regular induction of trainees up to a maximum of 50 trainees in the residential academy. Very soon the academy will also induct girl trainees in this program. This program is fully sponsored by the academy for all-round grooming of the trainees which includes cricket skills, fitness, lifestyle techniques and education.

B. HIGH-PERFORMANCE ADVANCE COACHING PROGRAMS

The academy runs various short and medium duration advanced coaching programs for the players (Juniors, Seniors Men and Women) throughout the year. The players are selected from the state teams and their probables in various categories. In special cases, if any exceptionally talented players are identified, such players are also inducted into these high-performance advance coaching programs.

C. PERSONAL AND INDIVIDUAL PROGRAMS

The academy also provides specialized and customized coaching to any interested player to improve his/her skill, fitness, injury management, mental strengthening, etc. on consideration. Such programs are time-based and on fees basis.

D. PAY AND PLAY PROGRAM

The academy also runs a regular coaching program for all age groups through the qualified coaching team on the basis of admission and payment of monthly fees. The upper limit of this scheme is 200 trainees in all categories together.

E. PROGRAMS FOR COACHES, CURATORS, UMPIRES, SCORERS, TRAINERS AND PHYSIOS

The academy also runs various training programs and workshops for grooming coaches by providing them with grade-wise licenses. That apart, the academy also conducts time-to-time workshops, seminars and orientation courses to produce qualified curators, scorers, umpires, trainers and physios through domain experts.

F. OTHER ACTIVITIES OF THE ACADEMY

(a) The academy regularly organizes age-group cricket tournaments in order to identify young talents. It also organizes tours of its team to various parts of the country and abroad and, also invites foreign and other domestic teams in order to give adequate exposure to its trainees.

(b) The academy monitors the functioning of various cricket coaching centers and academies running in the State of Assam through the system of accreditation. It monitors the coaching programs of such accredited coaching centers and academies with an objective to have a uniform mode of coaching modules and therefore, conducts coaching and other workshops for technical personnel of such institutions at regular intervals.
